Visit of a Medical Corps

On November the 5th, 43 US officers of the medical Corps based in Germany, came to visit the Utah Beach museum. They were invited by M. Charles De Vallavieille, museum curator, to visit the manor of Brecourt. He told them the story of the Battle to capture the guns of Brecourt. That account is well known by the americans through the TV serie "Band of Brother". They were deeply touched to hear M. De Vallavieille telling that story. Charles gave to Colonel Gallagher a diploma and a medal of honored citizen of Sainte Marie du Mont UTAH BEACH.
